Pathfinder scholars will benefit from high-quality instructional materials used across CLA programs. Along with curriculum support, we ensure accurate tracking of your child's learning with NWEA MAP Growth Benchmarking. This allows scholars, families, and CLA Teachers to track academic growth and celebrate achievements collaboratively.
As a parent or guardian in the Pathfinder Program, you are your child's primary Learning Coach, a truly vital partner in their educational success. This enriching role involves:
Guiding Daily Learning: You'll facilitate approximately 4-5 hours of daily learning activities, helping your child engage with the curriculum and complete assignments.
Monitoring Progress & Needs: You'll be on the front lines, observing your child's understanding, administering assessments, and identifying areas where additional support or challenge might be needed.
Maintaining Records: Fulfilling daily attendance requirements and tracking daily academic progress are key daily responsibilities.
Collaborating Weekly: You'll connect weekly with your assigned Crater Lake Academy teacher to discuss progress, troubleshoot challenges, and plan upcoming learning activities. Your insights are invaluable to our shared success!
